Anomo Named Best Chairman in Education and Rural Electrification at LOGMA 2024 Awards
Ekohotblog reports that Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has been honored as the Best Chairman in Education and Rural Electrification at the 2024 Local Government Chairmen Merit Awards (LOGMA).
This prestigious recognition highlights his significant contributions to the development of education and electrification projects in rural communities within his jurisdiction.

The award, which follows a rigorous evaluation process, was based on field reports and public opinion surveys conducted across the country.
Akogun Wale Anomo’s initiatives in education and rural electrification were noted for their far-reaching impact, surpassing expectations and setting a high standard for local governance.
Mr. Gbento Omolere Endurance, a representative of the award organizers, presented the award letter to Anomo in the presence of the Council Manager, Mr. Awobajo Sunday, and the Council Treasurer, Mr. Adeshina Lawal.
“This award recognizes leaders who have demonstrated responsible and accountable leadership.
Your projects in education and rural electrification underwent multiple stages of assessment, and you stood out for your tangible impact on the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA,” Mr. Endurance stated.
Anomo, who will officially receive the award in October during a grand ceremony in Abuja, expressed his gratitude to the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.

The award ceremony is expected to be attended by high-profile dignitaries, including the Honorable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on States and Local Government Affairs, who will preside over the event.
In addition to the recognition, Anomo will receive a star prize of a ten-seater bus to support the council’s initiatives.
This award is yet another testament to Akogun Wale Anomo’s commitment to the progress and welfare of the residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
