Another fuel laden Tanker has exploded in Oshigbudu, Agatu Local Government of Benue State barely three days after similar incident occurred in the community.
Ekohotblog gathered that houses were razed in the fresh explosion that occurred around 3am on Tuesday morning.
One Otache Gabriel, a member of the community, who announced the incident via a post on his Facebook wall, said properties were destroyed in the inferno
“Another fire outbreak in my community again. After first tanker explosion on Sunday, another one today around 3am this morning; houses are burning.
“God have mercy on us oo. Benue state is turning to another thing. God, two tanker explosions in one community.
Similarly, the Agatu Local Government Secretary, Oteyi Sunday confirmed the incident.
According to him, the conductor of the heavy duty vehicle has been arrested while the driver disappeared to an unknown destination.
