Another Medical Doctor Burnt To Death In Zamfara

Another medical doctor identified as Mr Enoch Okpara has been murdered and burnt beyond recognition in Zamfara state.

 Ekohotblog reports that Zamfara state police command has commenced an investigation into the death of Enoch Okpara, a medical doctor, who was killed and burnt by unknown assailants.

This online news platform learnt that the medical practitioner was reportedly found almost unrecognized due to the extent at which he was burnt with a fire set by the perpetrators.

However, a statement released by the state police command through its spokesperson, Shehu Mohammed, revealed that an investigation aimed at arresting the perpetrators of the horrific murder of the doctor has been launched in other to ensure they face the law.

Ekohotblog understands that the deceased before his death was a consultant Obstetrics/Gynaecologist working at the Federal Medical Centre in Gusau.

The decease was noticed to have missed a programme on Saturday morning at his Church. His body was, however, discovered in his apartment after members of the church called the attention of the security men.

Reports revealed that his phone lines had rung several times but no response. Suspecting something bad might have happened to the dedicated member after the silence from the calls, the leaders reached out to his colleagues at the FMC and finally, they found him dead following the arrival of the police at his house.
