Another notorious leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), identified as Thaddeus Ekechukwu, a.k. Moputu has escaped arrest as Nigerian joint security team invades his house yesterday.
Based on the media report., the security team invaded his house yesterday at Umuneke-Nta in Isiala Mbano Local Council of Imo State, around 1.00am, but he was no where to be found.
Some claimed that Moputu disappeared immediately he sensed danger, before the security team could get to his house.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that there was tension in the Community as there was heavy sporadic shooting by the security team when they stormed Moputu’s house.

The security team subsequently burned down Moputu’s home after they could not find him.
Unfortunately, the residents said that the burnt-down house and other properties destroyed by the fire belonged to his elder brother who stared helpless as they burned.
This is coming few weeks after the Commander of Eastern Security Network (Ikonso), was killed alongside his men by Nigerian joint security team, in Imo State.
