A former Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Lagos Water Corporation, Mr Olumuyiwa Olawale Coker, has died of covid-19 complications.
Olawale, 61-years-old, succumbed to the deadly virus on Thursday at an isolation centre in London.
Before his demise, the former MD of Lagos Water Corporation was also the Country Managing Partner, Mazars Coker and Co since January 2011.
Mr. Olawale held a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (1976-1979) and Masters of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Lagos.
He was among the three members of The Metropolitan Club who passed on due to covid-19 according to the General Manager of the club, Nurudeen Adebayo.

Other deceased members of the club and victims of covid-19 include Chief Chibuzo Azike and Professor Ibidapo Obe.
The erst-while public servant joins a long list of notable Nigerians to succumbed to the novel coronavirus, which has tuned up a notch since entering into its second wave.
