Ansarudeen College Isolo Old Students Association: A Standard Of Cynosure, Dr. Adebola Ismail Akindele

Dr. Adebola Ismail Akindele, the national president of the Ansarudeen College Isolo Old Students association (ADCIOSA) has declared the association’s impact as a cynosure of all eyes.

The ADCIOSA president made this statement at the just concluded Founders day and reunion celebration of the association at the College premises, Isolo Lagos, which held on Sunday 5th January 2025.

During an exclusive interview with Ekohotblog, Dr. Adebola referred the Ansarudeen College Isolo as unique amid others.

“We have been able to make Ansarudeen College Isolo among all the Ansarudeen colleges and grammar schools in Lagos the cynosure of all eyes.’’ He stated.

Dr. Adebola noted that the infrastructural projects that the association has commissioned in the college so far are numerous and signifies the association’s commitment to unwavering excellence.

Several impactful projects have been undertaken by individuals, class sets, and the alumni community as a whole, including the reconstruction of key college facilities.

The assembly hall was furnished and fully equipped, while the hostels, school mosque, laboratories, sports courts, and pavilions were also completed and upgraded, among other projects.

ADCIOSA founded in 1953 comprises of 252 sets who graduated from the college, with about 800 members across the globe.

The Founders Day celebration began in 2013 and is held annually on the first Sunday of every year, bringing together all graduating sets from the college.

The founders’ day and reunion celebration which also marked the 72nd anniversary united old students across different sets, where they all gathered in groups to review the past projects, discuss further projects intended by the association and deliberate on contributions to the development of the school.

The celebration featured the commissioning of a new pavilion, declared for use by the chairman of the occasion and former president of the association Air vice marshal, Dr. S.O Smith, they both thanked the almighty God for continuous involvement of ADCIOSA in the development of the college.

Furthermore, Dr. Adebola appreciated God and prayed for longevity of life and unity in ADCIOSA.

“Alhamdulillah for how long we have come, I ask almighty Allah to keep us much longer, united in good health, prosperity and we pray to the almighty Allah that we are able to continue doing this.” He stated.
