Anthony Joshua posts first tweet 4 days after defeat to Ruiz

Days after his shock defeat to Mexican boxer, Andy Ruiz, British heavyweight boxer has taken to Twitter for the first time, posting a powerful message about success and failure.

“Don’t let success get to your head or failure get to your heart,”the British boxer of Nigerian descent wrote yesterday in his first social media post.

Joshua, lost all three of his world heavyweight belts made up of the WBA, IBF, and IBO to titled Andy Ruiz Jr after a bout that ended in the seventh round at the Madison Square Garden early Sunday.

Apart from putting a dent on his hitherto undefeated record, that he was on the floor four times before the referee ended the fight shocked many of his fans and pundits alike.

However, a rematch has been announced, with Joshua’s team saying it will hold later in the year but with venue yet to be agreed upon.
