The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kano Zonal Office, has made monetary recovery of the sum of N643,942,612.68 (Six Hundred and Forty Three Million Naira Nine Hundred and Forty two thousand six hundred and twelve and Sixty Eight Kobo) only from January to date.

The disclosure was made by the Zonal Head of the Commission, Akaniyene Ezima in his opening remark during the rally held in Kano to commemorate UN International Anti- Corruption Day.
Ezima also disclosed that the Kano office also recovered the sum of $706,800.00 (Seven Humdred and Six Thousand, Eight Hundred United States Dollars), SR294,950.00 (Two Hundred and Ninety Four Saudi Riyal) and Y2800 (Two Thousand Eight Hundred Yen) in the year under review.
