Antony ‘Skips Training’ after Ajax rejected £67.5m Man Utd bid as star winger desperate to join Erik Ten at Old Trafford.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ajax winger Antony skipped training on Friday, despite being present at the club’s training ground, as he looks to push for a summer transfer to Manchester United.
The Red Devils lodged their first official bid for Antony earlier this week and, although they were debuffed, plan to return to the table.

Ajax rejected a £67.5million offer for the 22-year-old on Wednesday, which was thought to spell the end of United’s interest amid emerging cheaper alternatives like PSV Eindhoven’s Cody Gakpo.
However, it seems the Old Trafford giants have received encouragement that he is ready to play his part.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United aren’t giving up on Antony and have a plan to try to sign him again because they believe he’s desperate for the move.
Ajax are even contemplating whether to start the exciting Brazilian in their fixture on Sunday amid the intensifying speculation surrounding his future.
And Antony has poured fuel onto the fire by not taking part in training on Friday, according to Mike Verweij. He arrived at De Toekomst but skipped Alfred Schreuder’s session and worked away from the team in the gym, potentially in an unhappy reaction to Ajax turning down a suitable offer for his services.
Antony’s efforts to seal a move to United have seemingly shifted the tides and have somewhat sparked the club’s hopes of securing Ten Hag’s leading attacking target.
