EKO HOT BLOG reports that Presdiential aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress from the South-West and key stakeholders met in Abuja on Saturday.
The meeting which started on Saturday night extended into Sunday morning.
The seven presidential aspirants from the South-West are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; APC stalwart, Bola Tinubu; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; former Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun; Deputy Majority Leader of the Senate, Ajayi Boroffice; a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole; and Pastor Tunde Bakare.
Also at the meeting are governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun) and Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo).
At the time of filing this report, the details of the meeting have not been released.
This is coming after APC northern governors backed the transfer of power to the South.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the governors on Saturday night in Abuja.
