APC Confirms Councillorship Flagbearers for Ikosi-Ejinrin Ahead of 2025 LG Polls
- APC unveils six councillorship candidates for Ikosi-Ejinrin LGA in preparation for the 2025 LG elections.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released the names of its councillorship candidates for Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area ahead of the 2025 local government elections in Lagos State.
Ekohotblog gathers that the announcement was made by the Lagos State APC Electoral Committee under the chairmanship of Barr. Babatunde Ogala (SAN) OFR, alongside Hon. C.O. Ojelabi, Lagos APC Chairman, and Dr. Adeola Jokomba, the State Secretary of the party.

The following individuals have emerged as the party’s flagbearers:
1. Disu Odeyemi A. – Ward E1
2. Hassan Mustapha O. – Ward E2
3. Ganiyu Selim O. – Ward F1
4. Adesanya Shakirat – Ward G1
5. Oluwo Martins Oriyomi – Ward Q1
6. Ajayi Olumide Samuel – Ward R1
While presenting the candidates, Barr. Ogala emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in local governance.
“These individuals have been carefully screened and selected for their proven commitment to service and loyalty to the party. They reflect the values we want to uphold in local governance.”
APC State Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, praised the diversity and potential of the selected aspirants:
“The future of Lagos rests on strong grassroots governance. We believe these candidates will perform effectively, remain close to the people, and implement APC’s progressive agenda in every corner of Ikosi-Ejinrin.”
The only female candidate on the list, Adesanya Shakirat of Ward G1, expressed gratitude and determination:
