APC Crisis: IGP Orders Closure Of Party’s National Secretariat
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu has issued an order that the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) be sealed.
The directive of the Nigeria Police boss was relayed through the FCT Commissioner of Police, to the APC Chief Security Officer.
The order also bars the members of the National Working Committee,(NWC) from entering the party headquarters.
The Shutdown became imperative in order to enable the Police boss and the warring factions of the NWC to review and discuss the various and conflicting court orders, The Nation quoted a source to have said.

The ruling party has been embroiled in leadership crisis since last week, following the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
The NWC had appointed former governor of Oyo state, Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi as acting National Chairman, but Giadom, a member of NWC, proclaimed himself as the Acting National Chairman and wrote to INEC to that effect.
Consequently, an Abuja high court affirmed his acting capacity and asked him to remain in the position for two weeks pending the resolution of the issue by the NWC.
