Ekohotblog reports that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Epe Local Government Area, led by their Chairman, Hon. Oloruntoyin Gbadamoshi, held a special celebration today, Thursday, September 19, 2024, to mark the 60th birthday of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
The event, which included special prayers, was organized to recognize Dr. Hamzat’s numerous contributions to the development of Lagos State.

Hon. Gbadamoshi praised the Deputy Governor as a dedicated and astute leader who has been instrumental in advancing the state’s progress.
“On behalf of the leadership of the APC in Epe Division, including our Apex Leader and G.A.C member, Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki Bamu; House of Representatives member, Hon. Wale Tasir Raji; and House of Assembly member, Hon. Abiodun Mustain Tobun, I congratulate the good son of the soil, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on his 60th birthday. We wish him long life, prosperity, and continued good health.”
Hon. Ajibola Ajisefini, Secretary of the LGA, also commended Dr. Hamzat’s efforts in driving progress in Epe, Lagos State, and across Nigeria. He expressed his best wishes for the Deputy Governor, hoping for more fruitful and healthy years ahead.
The celebration concluded with the cutting of the birthday cake amid jubilation and thanks to God for Dr. Hamzat’s life and accomplishments.
During the event, Hon. Gbadamoshi announced that the revalidation of party membership would soon begin, urging members to prepare for the exercise.
He also appreciated the ongoing projects and initiatives led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Hon. Wale Raji, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, and Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, asking Nigerians to be patient as the administration addresses current challenges.
