APC Expels Ex-Gov Chime, Suspends Nnamani Over Anti-Party Activities

APC has taken disciplinary action against former governors Chime and Nnamani.

Nnamani was suspended from the party for engaging in anti-party activities, while Chime was expelled for the same reason.

They were alleged to have supported candidates from other political parties.
EKO HOT BLOG reports theat the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the expulsion of several prominent members from its party, including former Governor of Enugu State Barr. Sullivan Chime, Director-General of Voice of Nigeria Mr. Osita Okechukwu, former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly Hon. Eugene Odo, Mr. Flavour Eze, Mr. Joe Mmamel, and Mr. Maduka Arum.
The party has also suspended former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama.

The announcement was made on Thursday by Enugu State Secretary of the party Mr. Robert Ngwu, who presented the report of a disciplinary committee.
According to Messrs. Ngwu, the report was ratified by an enlarged State Executive Committee meeting.

The expelled and suspended party members were accused of engaging in anti-party activities during the 2023 general elections.
