APC Chieftain has stated that Buhari’s government inherited insecurity.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) has risen to defend President Muhammadu Buhari saying that all his critics concerning the state of insecurity in the country are not being fair to his administration.

According to the Director of contact and mobilisation for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council for the North West, Aminu Sani Jaji, the APC deserves reelection by Nigerians because the party under President Buhari has tried in the area of securing the country.

Jaji, who is a former lawmaker told journalists in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, during a press briefing that the APC inherited the insecurity situation in the country, therefore any insinuation that insurgency and insecurity started under President Buhari’s administration won’t be fair to him.

Jaji submitted that the responsibility of securing lives and properties is a duty of all, including the opposition parties.

Jaji, while canvassing support for the APC said Nigerians had quickly forgotten that the discovery of oil in Gombe State was achieved during President Buhari’s tenure which he said was another milestone achievement by the APC-led administration in the country.

He predicted that indication shows that the APC will run away with a landslide victory in the forthcoming general elections.

He noted that “I am very optimistic that APC would retain its seat at the national and State levels and if the APC presidential candidate is elected in 2023, he will make Nigeria and Nigerians very proud.

“I am sure that Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu will take the issue of insecurity as his number one priority and will tackle it appropriately.
