EKO HOT BLOG reports that a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari, governors on the platform of the APC, state chairmen, former governors and many other bigwigs of the party are at the meeting.
National chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu is currently presiding over the meeting.
It was gathered that the meeting would ratify a date for the party’s presidential primaries and the mode of nomination of its presidential candidate among others.
Recall that the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka in a statement had said all members of the NEC must attend the meeting.

He said: “Pursuant to Article 25.2.ii of the Constitution of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the National Working Committee (NWC) hereby invites members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of our great Party to a meeting to consider the Party’s Timetable/Schedule of Activities for Primaries for the nomination of candidates for the 2023 General Elections and other relevant business of the Party.
