EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the National Leader and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu gained the support of seven presidential aspirants who withdrew from the race to support his ambition.
The former Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio led the move to step down for the former Governor of Lagos State.
The lawmaker representing Ogun Central senatorial district, Ibikunle Amosun and Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, also stepped down for Tinubu at the presidential primary of the ruling party.
The former speaker of the house of representatives, Dimeji Bankole, the Governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, the lawmaker representing Ondo North senatorial district, Ajayi Boroffice also withdrew from the race to support Tinubu.
The only female APC presidential aspirant, Uju Ohanenye on Tuesday night threw in the towel to support Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

Meanwhile, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo who is also a presidential aspirant under the ruling party failed to step down for Tinubu as many had expected.
Tinubu would be hoping to beat Osinbajo in the race to clinch the presidential ticket of the party.
