APC Releases Councillorship Candidates List for Epe LGA Ahead of 2025 Local Government Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its official list of councillorship candidates for Epe Local Government Area (LGA) in anticipation of the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos State.

Ekohotblog gathers that the announcement, made under the supervision of the APC Lagos State Electoral Committee led by Barr. Babatunde Ogala (SAN) OFR, marks another crucial step in the party’s ongoing effort to entrench strong leadership at the grassroots level.

The list of candidates and their respective wards are as follows:

1. Lawal Adedeji Awwal – Ward A1

2. Salami Yemisi Abiodun – Ward A2

3. Orunbo Semiu Taiwo – Ward A3

4. Badara Wasiu Adebola – Ward A4

5. Benson Oluwasegun Olatunji – Ward A5

6. Oluwo Rasheed O. – Ward A6

7. Balogun Kazeem Adelaja – Ward C1

8. Araba Taofeek Adesoye – Ward D1

Speaking at the unveiling, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, APC Chairman of Lagos State, emphasized the importance of unity and grassroot engagement:
“The party has carefully selected capable and community-rooted individuals who will serve the people effectively and drive development from the ward level.”

Dr. Adeola Jokomba, Secretary of the APC in Lagos, added:
“This election is not about party alone—it is about continuity, performance, and a better future for every resident of Epe. We are confident in our candidates’ capacity to deliver.”

One of the candidates, Lawal Adedeji Awwal (A1), expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and promised inclusive leadership:

“I appreciate the trust the party and the people have placed in me. If elected, I will ensure that no one is left behind in our developmental agenda.”
