Abdullahi stated that the APC is suspecting that Goje connived with the opposition party during the governorship and state assembly elections. He added that the committee would investigate the involvement of Goje in anti-party activities, claiming that he directed some of his loyalists to vote for a different party and allegedly gave out money for vote-buying against the APC.
The committee has been given two weeks to present a report for appropriate action against Goje if he is found guilty. Abdullahi said, “Although the APC has won the presidential election, the governorship election, and most of the state Assembly seats, we would have performed better but for Goje’s anti-party activities.”
The Ward chairman said that Goje and his supporters engaged in anti-party activities, and they were all witnesses. He added that the committee was inaugurated in compliance with the party’s constitution, which provided for fairness and justice.
