APC Speaks on PDP Reclaiming Power in 2023

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has predicted that the country’s primary opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will have difficulties when its members join the APC.

Aminu Sani Gumel, Chairman of the APC in Jigawa State, revealed this during the Media Engagement Forum “organized by the state correspondents chapel and held at Manpower Development, Dutse.

He made the statement in reaction to the PDP’s promises that it will retake power in the 2023 election.

It had been reported that the PDP had said APC is a failed party and a great tsunami is awaiting them in 2023 over its failure to fulfil its campaign promises.

The party Chairman stated that the APC has kept all of the commitments it made to Nigerians before to the 2015 general election.

He described the PDP’s hopes of regaining power in the next 2023 general election as a mirage and self-deception.

He said that the APC’s strong leadership prompted thousands of PDP supporters to defect to the party in Jigawa State and around the country.

Gumel stated that the party is now striving to guarantee party unity ahead of the upcoming election.

“We are presently working to console all the aggrieved members and woe more opposition members ahead of the 2023 general election,” the APC Chairman stated.
