APC UK Elects New Executives

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the United Kingdom (UK) has elected a new set of executive members to lead the party for the next four years.

Eko Hot Blog reports that this was made known through a statement by the Publicity Secretary, Tunde Ajisola.

The election reflects the acceptance of the new leadership, which is committed to promoting the party’s ideals and providing effective leadership.

The newly elected Chairman, Tunde Doherty, is a seasoned and influential member of the community, known for his unwavering commitment to the principles and values of the APC.

Ajisola described Doherty as a unifying figure with leadership qualities, strategic vision, and the ability to inspire people.

Under Doherty’s leadership, the new executives aim to strengthen party unity, foster inclusiveness, and ensure that all members feel valued and heard.

The party also plans to engage the Diaspora Community, enhance interaction with the Nigerian community in the UK, and advocate for policies that benefit the community, promote economic empowerment, educational advancement, social justice, and grassroots participation.

Additionally, the party aims to strengthen UK-Nigeria relations, leveraging the strengths of the diaspora to contribute to Nigeria’s growth and development.

Ajisola expressed confidence that under Doherty’s leadership, APC-UK will continue to grow and thrive, making significant contributions to the community and beyond.

The new executives include Dr. Bonat Dauda (Deputy Chairman, North), Olumuyiwa Adesua (Deputy Chairman, South), Chief Momoh Yusuf Obaro (Secretary), Ayokunle Agunbiade (Deputy Secretary), Susan Jegunmah (Woman Leader), Hajia Mariam Muazu (Deputy Woman Leader), Hajia Sekinat Adams (Youth Leader), and Tunmise Ajiboye (Deputy Youth Leader). Others are Bernard Doro (Financial Secretary) and Alhaji Ganiu Adejumo (Deputy Financial Secretary).

Ajisola thanked the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Secretary, Dr. Ajibola Basiru, and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for their contributions to the successful election.
