The official spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, has blasted opposition parties over false documents.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Keyamo has challenged the opposition parties to head to court with valid documents instead of using social media as a tool for judgement.

EDITOR’S PICKS

This is coming after the false report by Arise Television stating that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has launched an investigation into the allegations against the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

INEC had debunked the report on Saturday, stating that the forged document did not emanate from the commission nor did the National Commissioner, Festus Okoye sign it.

Arise Television later apologized to Asiwaju Tinubu and the entire APC for spreading the false report without confirming thereby misleading the members of the public.

Keyamo who took to his social media handle to blast the opposition parties for such a show of calumny said they have now converted the social media to court.

“The losing opposition parties have now converted Social Media to their judiciary.”

The minister further challenged the opposition parties to approach the court of law with any evidence of disqualifying documents against the APC candidate.

He said “If one has any potent disqualifying document, head straight to the court of law and stop parading social media, looking for validation and attempting to convert likes and retweets to court judgment”.

Recall the APC-PCC Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga had earlier issued a statement to warn PDP and Labour Party (LP) to desist from the campaign of calumny and unprofessionalism.
