APC’s Sylva Wins Another LGA As INEC Resumes Collation In Bayelsa

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the collation of results in the Bayelsa governorship election held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, has resumed.

Recall that Governor Duoye Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who is leading in the election, has won five Local Government Areas (LGAs)

Following the resumption of collation on Monday afternoon, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Timipre Sylva, has won an additional local government area.

The state Resident Electoral Officer (REC) announced that Sylva is the winner of Brass local government, where he hails from. He added that the result of Southern Ijaw LGA is expected before the election is concluded.

Total No of Registered Voters – 94,040

Total No of Accredited voters – 32,064

APC – 18,431

PDP – 12,602

LP – 83

NRM – 31
