There is rising tension in Edo State as armed men on Friday evening kidnapped Edo State Commissioner for Education, Mr. Emmanuel Agbale on his way to Ekpoma.
The hoodlums who attacked his convoy along Benin — Auchi Road around Oil Palm Estate, killed the Commissioner’s Police ADC before taking him away.
The incident occurred at about 3.30 pm on Friday, leaving many stakeholders in the State considered it unfortunate that the incident is happening when there is a lockdown in the State and there are police checkpoints at many locations on the Benin — Auchi road.
