Eko Hot Blog reports that The Special Military Taskforce, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), has successfully retrieved the body of Ardo Adamu Gabdo, who was tragically murdered in the Panyam community of the Mangu Local Government Area in Plateau State.
Captain James Oya, the media officer of OPSH, announced this development during a press conference held in Jos, the state capital. The assailants suspected of the crime had killed Gabdo on September 24 in the Panyam community.
Oya reported that the recovery of the body was the result of a thorough search conducted by OPSH personnel based on credible intelligence received from concerned locals. He stated, “Based on credible intelligence from well-meaning locals, the remains of the missing Fulani leader have been discovered and recovered for burial.”
The body was found in the vicinity of Boi, along the Pankshin – Bauchi Road, within the Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State. Oya credited this breakthrough to OPSH’s continued community engagement efforts.
He emphasized that this recovery marked a significant step forward in the task force’s ongoing efforts to address insecurity in the state and other areas within its jurisdiction. Oya also assured that OPSH, along with other security agencies, would relentlessly pursue the arrest and prosecution of all individuals involved in this heinous crime.
He concluded, “OPSH will continue to work tirelessly and stop at nothing to bring the perpetrators of all evil acts to justice and ensure the security of lives and property on the Plateau in particular and our entire Joint Operations Area.”
