Arsenal Midfielder Loses Mother To Covid-19
The world of football is in mourning as Arsenal Star Lucas Torreira loses his mother to corona virus
Sad news hit the Arsenal team as reports suggest that Lucas Torreira’s mother has passed away today due to Covid-19.
Since a week ago, the 25 years old midfielder who is currently on loan in Atletico Madrid was reported to have returned to Frey Bentos, his hometown in Uruguay because his mother’s condition worsened, she was admitted into intensive care as a result of Covid-19.
However, Viviana’s health condition deteriorated and her death was announced on Tuesday, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Torriera also contracted covid 19 back in November 2020 during an international duty for Uruguay.
Back in January, Torriera’s relationship with his mom sparked reactions on the internet, as the Arsenal midfielder showed his mum love by getting a tattoo of her face on his leg.
