If reports are anything to go by, Arsenal might secure a loan deal for Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona just a little over a year after he moved to the La Liga champions in a deal reportedly worth 140million in pounds.
On the deal, L’Equipe reports that Gunners boss, Unai Emery, hope to add further firepower to his forward line with the capture of the Brazilian who has struggled to settle at Nou Camp.
Coutinho, a former Liverpool star, linked with a number clubs including Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and his former club, Liverpool, is expected to move to the Emirates for the 2019-20 campaign if the deal sails through before Thursday’s 5pm transfer deadline.
