EKO HOT BLOG reports that Chelsea legend, Pat Nevin, has tipped Tierney Kirean to win football’s most prestigious individual award, Ballon d’Or.

Arsenal paid around £25m in 2019 to land the Scotland International from Celtic and he has proven a popular figure with supporters.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of the way, Tierney is in line to become Arsenal captain next season.

The player is now worth well more than the £25m Arsenal paid for Tierney and Nevin recalled he advised his former club Chelsea to make a move for the Scot.

“I genuinely believe he can go on to win the Ballon d’Or.
‘Only one defender – Fabio Cannavarro, has ever won that prize but it’s not impossible for KT to emulate him.”
