Arsenal Will End Up 3rd On The Table – Charlton Cole

  • Chelsea striker, Charlton Cole stands of the opinion that North London rival, Arsenal are chasing clout and not the league.

  • According to Cole, Manchester United still prove a threat to the top of the table, and that Erik ten Hag’s team be taken seriously.

  • Arsenal will finish third and not win the league as he predicts Manchester City clinching top spot in the end.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Chelsea striker, Charlton Cole, has predicted that Arsenal will finish third in the English Premier League (EPL) this season, with Manchester United coming in second.

According to Cole, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will win the title.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Cole shared his thoughts during an interview on talkSPORT, where he stated that Manchester United was coming up from nowhere in the league and would finish second, while Arsenal would trail behind in third place.

When asked who he believed would finish second between Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Cole responded by saying “Ten Hag. I just think they’ve got momentum. Arsenal don’t have momentum at the moment…”

This prediction comes after Arsenal’s 2-4 win over Aston Villa, which temporarily placed them at the top of the Premier League table on Saturday. However, this position could change depending on the outcome of Manchester City and Nottingham Forest’s match.

Arsenal has been inconsistent in the league this season, with eight wins, four draws, and four losses in their 16 matches played so far. Meanwhile, Manchester United has been on an impressive run of form, with six wins and two draws in their last eight league games.

Manchester City currently sits in second place in the Premier League, one point behind Arsenal but with a game in hand. They have won 11 of their 14 games so far this season and remain a strong contender for the title.

“Man United are coming up from nowhere. Ten Hag. I just think they’ve got momentum. Arsenal don’t have momentum at the moment…” Cole told talkSPORT.

Contrary to Charlton Cole’s prediction however, Manchester City themselves may end up not finishing 1st or 2nd on the table considering how they haven’t been a consistent side in the league recently.
