EKO HOT BLOG reports that Arsenal FC of England lost to Nottingham Forest by 1-0, in the Emirates cup, on Sunday, thereby knocking them out of the competition in the third round.
Arsenal have been knocked out in the third round of the FA Cup for only the second time in the past 26 seasons — and championship side Nottingham Forest were once again their conquerors
The loss to Nottingham Forest means Arsenal are competing for just the Premier League and the Carabao Cup, in which they are in the Semi-final.

Same Old Arsenal
In a season where Arsenal are expected to do well in cup competitions due to their lesser involvement in bigger competitions, they are failing to once again assure their fans that they can even fight for trophies.
One question this loss brings to mind is if Arsenal is developing under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s manager?
The Process
When Arsenal had it tough last season, the popular slogan around Arsenal circles was “trust the process”. However, this season, it seems Arsenal are still struggling to create a process.
For two seasons plus, Arsenal are yet to have an identifiable style or pattern of play, and this showed again on Sunday. In the first half, Arsenal played good, but in the second half, they played bad. So, was there really a process at the first place?
