Chief Elvis Agukwe, Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) warns politicians to desist from malicious propaganda.
The APC Chieftain on Sunday advised politicians to desist from all forms of malicious propaganda and rumour against opponents for a peaceful country.
Agukwe told newsmen in Abuja that malicious propaganda and wishful deaths for opponents negate brotherly coexistence.
EkoHotBlog reports that Elvis Agukwe was reacting to the rumoured death of Arthur Eze, a billionaire oil magnate. Agukwe said the rumour turned out to be a lie.
He said, “For whatever strenuous or political reasons, it is evil to willfully wish others dead, It is a sin against God and humanity. I want people to repent from deliberate wickedness. We are not God. He knows our hearts and how righteous we are,” he said.
The APC chieftain, who described rumour and falsehood as deadly weapons capable of threatening the existence of any nation, called on politicians to be cautious.
He alleged that Nigerian leaders are being threatened on daily basis by envious people who could not improve their situation.
Agukwe added: “My advice is for people to repent, tax collectors and prostitutes may enter the kingdom of God first if our ways are not changed.”
