Odunsi said, “Good day everyone, I’m the one who gave birth to Ahmed Asake the singer. The last time I saw him was in March 2022, when my illness started. If I call Asake, he won’t pick up. Please help me, I need your assistance.”
In response, Asake shared a video on his social media page on Friday, addressing the matter through a Yoruba song. He expressed that one cannot please everyone and that his father was attempting to manipulate him despite his past kindness.
Asake stated, “You can’t please the world. Whatever you do, do it for God and always remember the day you’ll meet your Maker. My people, can you see? Even my father wants to deceive me. I used to give him money willingly, but no one can stop my progress. It’s God who is guiding me forward in life.”
