Asake To Perform At Trace Awards In Kigali

Eko Hot Blog reports that YBNL/Empire Signee, Ololade Ahmed popularly known as Asake and his Ghana counterpart Mohammed Sherif Frimpong also known as Black Sheriff are set to perform at the inaugural Trace Awards.

The award which is making its debut on October 21, 2023 at the BK Arena, Kigali, capital of Rwanda, will be having a host of performance which comprise musicians from across Africa.

The organisers said more than 150 artistes will be performing at the award show.

Few of the names of Acts set to perform at the inaugural celebration are: Kizz Daniel, Bamby, Benjamin Dube, Black Sherif, Blxckie, Bruce Melodie, Bwiza, Didi B, Dystinct, Janet Otieno, Josey and Lisandro Cuxi. 

Locko, Mikl, Perola, Plutionk, Princess Lover, Ronisia, Rutshelle Guillaume, Soraia Ramos, Tay C, Terrell Elymoor, and Viviane Chidid will be performing as well.

Burna Boy and Davido are part of the artistes nominated for awards, with the duo bagging four nominations each.

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on Trace TV Channels, different global streaming platforms, radio, satellite channels and digital platforms for wider coverage.

Chairman and co-founder of the television, Olivier Laouchez, described African artistes as “extraordinarily creative and dynamic”.
