BREAKING: Osun Gov Aspirant Ogunbiyi Resigns From PDP

Osun State Governorship aspirant Ogunbiyi has resigned from PDP.
- Ogunbiyi recently withdrew from the race for the 2022 Osun PDP governorship primaries.
He cited bias by the Dr. Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee of the party.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, has resigned from the party.
Ogunbiyi recently withdrew from the race for the 2022 Osun PDP governorship primaries.
He cited bias by the Dr. Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee of the party.

Announcing his exit from the PDP in a letter addressed to Ayu, the chairman, Mutual Benefits Assurance, an insurance company, thanked the PDP national chairman for the “interaction and engagements within the party over the years.”
Ogunbiyi made his intention to resign from PDP known through a letter he personally signed on Tuesday night.
The letter reads, “LETTER OF RESIGNATION FROM THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP)
“Please accept this letter as a formal resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with effect from 28th March 2022.
“Thank you for the interactions and engagements I had within the Party over the years of my membership.”
As at the time of filling this reports, Ogunbiyi didn’t make clear which party he was going.
