Assailants Behead APC Chieftain, Raze Lawmaker, Ex-Commissioner’s House
- Assailants have beheaded APC chieftain and razed house of lawmaker and ex-commissioner.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that tragedy struck in Imo State on Wednesday after assailants beheaded two persons in the Orsu Local Government Area of the state.
The assailants were also said to have razed the country home of the lawmaker representing the area at the state House of Assembly, Ekene Nnodimele, after beheading his gateman.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the assailants also beheaded an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in the area, Jonathan Ugochukwu.
Sources disclosed that the country home of the immediate past state attorney general of the state and commissioner for justice, Cyprian Akaolisa, was also burnt during the multiple attacks which occurred between 1am and 2am on Wednesday.

Also, the house and vehicle of the councillor representing Amaebu Ebenatu ward, Clifford Mazi, were razed by the assailants after they met his absence when they got to his house.
It was gathered that the unknown gunmen also burnt the house of the President General of Amaebu Ebenatu, Oliver Ejelonu, who also escaped.
The wife of the APC chieftain, Nkechi Ugochukwu, disclosed that the assailants invaded their house, carried her husband out, beheaded him, and set the house ablaze.
The immediate-past attorney general and commissioner for justice, when contacted, said he had reported the attack to the police.
Speaking, the state commissioner of police, Abutu Yaro, said the police were investigating the multiple attacks, adding that his command was closing in on the assailants.
