EKO HOT BLOG reports that Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, on Sunday, celebrated with the former Minister of Education and ex-Governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, on the occasion of his 68th birthday.
In a post via his official X handle, Atiku described Shekarau as an accomplished public servant and administrator whose indelible footprints are visible in the national space.
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), therefore, wished the former Kano governor many more years of sound health and service to our country and humanity.
He wrote: “I felicitate with my friend and associate, H.E Senator Ibrahim Shekarau (CON), the erstwhile governor of Kano State, who turned 68 today.
“Sen. Shekarau is an accomplished public servant and administrator whose indelible footprints are visible in our national space.
“It is, therefore, with joy that I celebrate this astute politician and rare patriot whose commitment to the pan-Nigerian project is bar none.
”I wish him many more years of sound health and service to our country and humanity.”
