Atiku Formally Changed Name Says Spokesman, Phrank Shuaib

Eko Hot Blog reports that The claims that Atiku Abubakar’s former vice president’s principal falsified his Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Certificate have been rejected by Phrank Shaibu, Atiku’s spokesperson.

Shaibu stated that there is no difference regarding the gap between his current name and the one on his WAEC certificate during an interview on Arise News.

He added that Siddiq and Atiku are names that have a historical connection to one person in Islamic theology and that the Prophet Muhammad bestowed both of them to his close friend, Caliph Abubakar

Shaibu said that his principle changed his name back to Atiku From Sadiq in an affidavit in August 1973 and that he is in possession of all the paperwork related to this formal name change and there was no need for the attention drawn to it by the All progressive’s Congress on the matter.
