Ganduje, Kwankwaso, Other Bigwigs Present As Atiku’s Daughter Weds

The wedding ceremony of Laila, daughter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and her partner Saleh Maitala, took place on Friday at the National Mosque in Abuja, attracting an array of prominent political figures.

Among the distinguished guests were Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement; former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar; former Jigawa governor, Sule Lamido; and acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Iliya Damagum.

This  online media platform understands that this ceremony comes days after Atiku received a distinguished delegation at his residence in Asokoro yesterday.

The delegation, headed by Nasiru El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, included family members of Kashim Imam, who came to formally seek the hand of Atiku’s daughter, Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, in marriage.
