Atletico Madrid reportedly interested in Man Utd’s Sanchez

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Spanish club, Atletico Madrid, have made expressed an interest in signing Manchester United striker, Alexis Sanchez.

The report claims the Spanish side “really interested” in the former Arsenal and Barcelona star and are prepared to offer the 30-year-old a three-year deal.

Sanchez, who spent three years in Spain with Barcelona, scoring 47 times in his 141 appearances with the Catalans, has struggled since moving to Manchester United.

Reports indicate United are likely to waive a fee for the player if Atletico agree to take on his wages in full. The more realistic option is for the Chilean to take a major cut on his current close to £400,000-a-week deal.
