EKO HOT BLOG report that Barcelona striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, would snub the chance to join Manchester United if he leaves Barcelona this summer.
Thomas Tuchel is keen to add another striker to his ranks after the departures of Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Having worked at Borussia Dortmund with Aubameyang that coincided with a successful spell in front of goal, the 48-year-old now wants to reunite with the ex-Arsenal striker at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, United boss, Erik ten Hag, is also desperate to beef up his attack and has identified Aubameyang as a target.
Old Trafford chiefs have held talks with Barcelona and the 33-year-old, who only moved to the Nou Camp on a free transfer in February.
However, if Barca were to sanction a sale, then Aubameyang would prefer Chelsea instead of United.
Barcelona have already set out a £21million price tag on the player.
A move to the Blues would also allow Aubameyang to return to London – where he spent four years playing for Arsenal.
But in order for Chelsea to land the striker they must meet Barcelona’s asking price, which is believed to be around £21million.
The news will come as a blow for Ten Hag and United as they urgently look to recruit a new striker.
