Augustine University Ilara Epe Receives Computers, Others From Zinox Technologies’ Leo Stan Ekeh

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation, owned by Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, the Chairman of Zinox Technologies Ltd., has donated various sets of digital equipment to Augustine University, Ilara, Epe, Lagos State.
The university took delivery of the donated materials at a ceremony on Thursday, 4th April, 2024, at the Cybersecurity Laboratory situated in the university’s Convocation Hall building.

Eko Hot Blog gathered that the donations were aimed at enhancing educational resources and technological advancement at Augustine University.
The donated materials included 30 desktop computers, 50 tablet computers, and an electronic smartboard.
Speaking at the event, the donor, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to empower educational institutions and nurture the talents of future leaders.

He expressed his belief that access to modern digital tools will help in shaping the learning experiences of students and preparing them for the challenges of the digital age.
On his part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Augustine University, Sir Steve Omojafor, OON, hailed Dr. Ekeh and the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation.
He praised the foundation for its dedication to promoting education and advancing technological literacy among students.
Similarly, the Vice-Chancellor of Augustine University, Professor Christopher Odetunde, extended appreciation to Dr. Ekeh, highlighting the transformative impact the donated equipment would have on the University’s academic programmes and research endeavors.
As part of the ceremony, attendees were treated to a demonstration of the smartboard’s capabilities by the ICT Acting Director, Rev. Sr. Adebola Daramola.
The interactive session showcased the potential applications of the smartboard in facilitating dynamic and engaging teaching and learning experiences.
The event was hybrid, blending physical presence with virtual participation, as some attendees joined virtually.
Attendees who participated virtually were the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Augustine University, Sir Steve Omojafor, a member of the Governing Council of Augustine University, Mr. Peter Nwanze, the Vice-Chancellor of Augustine University, Professor Christopher Odetunde, and the donor Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh himself.
