Eko hot blog reports that the Augustine University community is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Rev. Msgr. Patrick Obayomi, the esteemed Parish Priest of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Dean of Ikeja Deanery.
Msgr. Obayomi, a cherished benefactor of Augustine University, was well-known for his generous support, including sponsorship of the Best Behaved Male and Female Awards, which honored exemplary character among AUI students.
The Vice-Chancellor, faculty, and students of Augustine University extend their heartfelt condolences to the parishioners of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the entire Ikeja Deanery.
Msgr. Obayomi is remembered as a man of faith and a beacon of hope, whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
As we pray for the repose of Rev. Msgr. Patrick Obayomi’s soul, we seek the intercession of the Blessed Mother Mary.
