Augustine University Welcomes New Students for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Ekohotblog reports that Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State, on Monday, opened its doors to a fresh group of students for the 2024/2025 academic session.

 

The event marks the beginning of a new journey for many young minds.

 

Eager students and their families arrived early on campus, with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.

 

The orientation began with various registration processes that included official registration with the Registry, comprehensive medical screenings and hostel allocations, all aimed at providing a seamless transition into campus life.

 

The faculty and administrative staff were on hand to guide the students and ensure a smooth entry into the Augustine University community.

 

Speaking about the significance of the orientation, Dr. Amarachukwu Obayiuwana, Dean of Student Affairs, said,

 

“Orientation is more than just a paperwork; it’s the foundation of our students’ journey here.

 

Our goal is to help each student feel supported, prepared, and ready to embrace the academic and personal growth that Augustine University has to offer them.”

 

Some of the new students also shared their excitement and enthusiasm with EKO HOT BLOG.

 

Chioma Okafor, a fresh enrollee in the Department of Computer Science, said, “I’ve always wanted to be part of this university because of its reputation for excellence.

 

“Today feels like the beginning of a dream come true, and I’m ready to make the most of it.”

 

On his part, Dr. Emmanuel Ogundele (Rev. Fr.), the university chaplain, encouraged students to make the most of their time on campus.

 

“This is a place where you’re encouraged to grow in all aspects of life—not only in academics but in values and service to others. We’re here to support you through every step of the way.”
