Austrian Woman Escapes From Hospital After Coronavirus Test

An Austrian woman has been placed under police watch after she escaped hospital premises in Austria before her Coronavirus test was ready.

The unidentified woman had according to Karl Schupfer, who works as a press officer in Salzburg, had been in the hospital since Tuesday but decided to escape to her home on Wednesday.

While the authorities have taken her in and placed her under police watch, the motive for the 31-year-old’s escape is still unclear and officials are now trying to understand who she had contact with during her escape.

Austria has not had any reported case of Coronavirus and are eager to keep things that way, hence, the continued holding of the woman until they are sure she is free from the virus.
