Notable filmmaker and comedian, Ayo Makun, has taken to social media to celebrate his daughter on her graduation from primary school.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the 30 Days in Atlanta producer wrote a letter expressing his joy at the girl’s achievement while encouraging her to continue to be compassionate in all that she does.
“Dear Michelle, your mum and I can remember your very first day at school in Surulere. Even if it seems like just a few days ago. Today you have made us proud parents. It’s a pleasure to see our precious Adeola completing her primary education to the point of graduation. A bright future is waiting ahead for you.
“Here is a little prayer from us as we are wishing you a very successful journey in life. We pray and ask you, our beloved daughter to continue to work hard like daddy and mummy. Never let pride break you apart. Never let your qualifications or status make you a person too proud to acknowledge that you are gifted by God,” he wrote in parts.
Michelle, AY’s only daughter with his wife, Mabel, was born in 2008.
