EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ben Ayade, has announced the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries to the state public service as his administration enters its final 25 days.
Their elevation from the position of directors to permanent secretaries was announced in a statement on Thursday by the Head of Service, Timothy Akwaji.
According to him, “His Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof Ben Ayade, has approved the elevation of the underlisted directors to the rank of permanent secretary in the state public service.”
They are Ushie Esther Peter, Irek Matthew Esikpe, Atim Okokon Ekpenyong, Emmanuel Egban and Abu Ikwo Eyo.
Akwaji said their appointments take effect from April 27, 2023.
