Veteran gospel actor and producer Moses Korede Are, known affectionately as Baba Gbenro for his role in the popular Mount Zion series Abattoir, has reportedly passed away.

The news was shared on Thursday by fellow gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi via his verified Instagram account. Adejumobi’s message read, “Heaven’s Gain Again. A General Has Gone to Rest,” expressing the deep loss felt within the gospel film community.
