Badagry Rainstorm: Lagos Govt Helps Victims, Gives Cash
The Lagos state governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu has supported the families that were involved the massive rainstorm in Badagry with cash. The affected families are grouped into three according to the level of damages conditions, those who suffered enormously got a sum of N500,000 while those with moderate conditions got N400,000 and lesser, N200,000 respectively.

The Governor however said that the current administration have been given approval for the renovation of the Agia Tree as a historic monument, assuring that acceleration of the construction of the International Badagry Expressway with the warming support of the government.
The Honorable member of Lagos state house of assembly, representing the four communities affected by the enormous rainstorm, Mr. David Setonji, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the state government for their great efforts and support towards the victim, after the storm damaged their houses. Some of them were sleeping under leaking roof.
