The festival, held under the esteemed leadership of Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun, the Oloja of Epe Land, saw a vibrant turnout and showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Epe people.
Hon. Abiodun highlighted the Ojude Oba Festival as a significant cultural event that unites the community, celebrating the traditions and values passed down through generations.
“The Ojude Oba Festival is more than just a celebration; it is a reflection of our identity, our unity, and our shared history,” he stated.
He went on to commend the efforts of the organizers, participants, and the entire Epe community for their unwavering commitment to preserving their cultural heritage.
“Your participation and enthusiasm have made this year’s festival a remarkable success,” the Epe chief noted.

In his speech, Hon. Abiodun also offered prayers for the well-being of all attendees, wishing them prosperity, good health, and continued unity.
“May the blessings of this festival be upon us all. I pray for peace, prosperity, and harmony in our community,” he said.
“Let us continue to support each other and work together for the betterment of Epe Land.”
The Ojude Oba Festival, traditionally held the day after Eid al-Adha, features an array of cultural displays, including music, dance, and traditional parades.
It serves as a platform for the community to pay homage to their ruler and celebrate their cultural identity.
