Bandits Attack Mosques During Jummat Prayers in Katsina

Armed bandits on Friday launched an attack on the Dan-Ali community in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, disrupting Jummat prayers in several mosques.

The attackers, wielding dangerous weapons, stormed the community during the prayers, firing sporadically and causing worshippers to flee for safety.

Details regarding the number of residents kidnapped during the incident remain unclear at this time.

Efforts by our reporter to contact the Katsina State Police Command for more information were unsuccessful, as the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, could not be reached.
